Residential Re-Entry Specialist (3rd; Tue-Sat 11p-7a)

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist (Youth Residential Mentor) for our Coventry House program in Coventry, RI. At Community Solutions, Inc. Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth residents in a residential setting
• Develop and implement individualized plans for each resident, in collaboration with other team members
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents throughout their stay
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and behavior
• Ensure that all residents receive the necessary support and resources to successfully reintegrate into their communities
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift
• Conduct common area, room searches and perimeter searches as assigned and document results
• Conduct pat/pocket searches on all clients entering the facility and document results
• Complete house counts every hour from Midnight to 8am and every 2 hours from 8am to 10pm and document results
• Transport Clients as needed in a Company vehicle
• Conduct monthly emergency drills
• Secure urines from same sex clients and complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and their families
• Facilitate client orientation as assigned
• Facilitate all client movement in and out of the facility
• Monitor clients self-administration of medication

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma plus 4 years experience in the social service or criminal justice field
• Bachelor’s degree plus one year experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred
• Experience with Youth Population Preferred
• Able to arrive 15 minutes before shift for shift change, may also be required to stay later
• Valid drivers license

Pay

$19.98 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials

Tuesday-Saturday 11:00pm to 7:00am
