Residential Re-Entry Security Specialist (Full-time) (67394)

Responsibilities

• Makes sure the facility is safe and secure.
• Monitors residents' activities and ensures compliance with rules.
• Ensures residents are accounted for and maintains accurate logs.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
• Supports residents with daily needs and behaviors.
• Controls entry points and prevents contraband.
• Documents and reports incidents and issues.
• Completes resident intake and briefs new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Two years of college education can substitute for experience.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
• Experience in Human Services, security, corrections, or military.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for residential centers.
• Flexible scheduling and ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Compassion and respect for individuals with special needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
