Residential Psych Tech - Turnaround Ranch - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Charts all pertinent observations on a continuing basis regarding residents
• Subject to mandatory overtime and shift changes
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• Supervises and assists residents in wake-up, meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, daily routine and hygiene, house rules and sleep
• Works as a team member with other staff to implement program plans
• Provides direct behavior observations and reinforcement of appropriate behaviors as prescribed by the cottage based treatment team
• Participates in Team Meetings, shift information exchanges, daily cottage briefings and has input in the evaluation and treatment plan progress of each resident

Physical Requirements

• Normal direct care environment
• Moderate physical effort requiring handling of average weight objects of up to 50 pounds and standing and walking
• Able to work under stressful conditions
• To work irregular hours and deal with irate individuals
