Residential Property Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of daily operations of a portfolio of residential properties
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and compliance issues
  • Attend and actively participate in Board meetings, providing operational updates and recommendations
  • Meet directly with Boards of Directors to discuss community objectives, property performance, budgets, and ongoing projects
  • Cookordination of maintenance activities, capital improvement projects, and vendor services
  • Management of vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements
  • Preparation, monitoring, and administration of property operating budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with community governing documents, policies, and applicable regulations
  • Response to and resolution of resident, owner, and Board inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintenance of accurate property records, reports, and operational documentation
  • Collaboration with internal departments to ensure efficient property management operations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing residential communities, including HOAs, Cooperative Communities, and Condominium Associations
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple residential properties simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of property management operations, budgeting, vendor management, and resident relations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between properties

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000/year

Territory

The majority of the assigned portfolio is located within Queens and Nassau County, with responsibility for approximately six residential communities throughout the Long Island market.
