Description
The Residential Construction Project Manager will:
- Provide overall leadership and coordination for residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage and develop project team members to maximize performance and professional growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
- Administer owner contracts, subcontract agreements, and vendor commitments
- Establish, communicate, and maintain project schedules
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Maintain project cost control and implement strategies to maintain budget objectives
- Cover procurement, material deliveries, and subcontractor schedules
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts throughout construction
- Lead project meetings and maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders
- Identify project risks and develop solutions to mitigate potential issues
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client expectations
Profile
The successful Residential Construction Project Manager will have:
- 5+ years of Residential Construction Project Management experience
- Experience managing custom homes, luxury renovations, multifamily, or residential development projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
- OSHA certification preferred
- Proficiency with project management and construction software
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships
