About the role
We are seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This individual will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating multiple trades, and being actively involved in the field.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through final completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling or construction issues.
- Conduct regular job-site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, and quality.
- Review blueprints, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation.
- Track project costs, budgets, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety requirements, and company quality standards.
- Maintain consistent communication with homeowners/clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
- Resolve project delays, conflicts, and unexpected field issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience required.
- Previous residential or construction project management experience strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and building practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong leadership, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license required.
Pay
$65,000–$85,000 annually
