About the role
Responsible for installing residential insulation to improve energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install blown-in cellulose and fiberglass insulation in attics, walls, and floors.
- Measure spaces and calculate quantities needed for insulation projects.
- Use specialized equipment to ensure proper installation techniques.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to local building codes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of insulation materials and installation methods.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and insulation equipment.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
