About the role
The Residential Instructor is a valued member of the Hope Network team, providing direct support, supervision, and person-centered care within our residential programs. Residential Instructors help individuals build daily living and independent living skills, encourage positive behaviors, and support residents in reaching their highest level of independence and community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Aid in daily living (ADLs), personal care, and medication management
- Support community outings, transportation, and organized activities
- Build positive relationships and foster independence among residents
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive living environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pass background checks and fingerprinting
- Obtain CPR/First Aid certification
