Residential HVAC Service Technician

About the role

This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the master level. The technician will primarily handle installs, repairs, and maintenance for a variety of equipment, including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and humidifiers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service
• EPA Certification
• Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Skills

• Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and advanced electronics of systems
• Able to troubleshoot and repair advanced piping systems, including copper, plastic, and carbon steel
• Advanced knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
• Knowledge of energy conservation practices/equipment as it relates to residential HVAC and air quality/filtering systems
