Residential Housekeeper, Full-Time

About the role

The Residential Housekeeper at Timbers Kaua‘i at Hōkūala is responsible for providing top-notch guestroom and public area cleaning services. This position offers the opportunity to work in a stunningly beautiful setting, contributing to the creation of memorable experiences for both guests and owners.

Responsibilities

• Performs vacant cleans as scheduled.
• Performs cleaning service as scheduled.
• Maintains cleanliness of laundry rooms, warehouse, and additional common areas as directed by Supervisor.
• Cleans the office.
• Reports service requests needed on apartments.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and housewares.
• Maintains proper utility settings in vacant units per community standards.
• Completes all other duties logged on the make ready board.
• Makes deliveries of envelopes, receipts, and special request items as necessary.
• Participates in weekly on-call duties as necessary.
• Maintains a positive work environment by interacting positively with co-workers, residents, customers, vendors, and management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with two years of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including speaking the English language.
• Knowledge of office administrative practices and procedures.
• Ability to contribute effectively to team or work unit goals, objectives, and activities.
• Ability to deal successfully with a variety of individuals from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills.
