Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional maintenance and repair work that meets Birdwatch’s standards and exceeds client expectations.
- Complete most jobs in a single visit by arriving prepared, equipped, and ready to troubleshoot effectively.
- Manage client expectations with superior customer service skills, including strong attention to detail and clear communication.
- Stay organized, close out tickets promptly, and hit monthly performance markers without sacrificing quality.
- Work seamlessly with your team, share knowledge, and contribute ideas to improve processes.
- Represent Birdwatch’s values—safety, honesty, humility, and respect—in every interaction, leaving both the worksite and the homeowner’s experience better than you found them.
Requirements
- Experience in home maintenance and/or construction required (2+ years)
- Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage client expectations
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with training and mentoring is a plus!
- Trade certifications are a plus!
- Superior organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, self-directive and detail-oriented
- Ability to work with challenging personalities with grace
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to recognize systemic problems and offer solutions to enhance and improve current systems
- Ability to be on-call and respond to emergencies as they arise
- Ability to work a flexible schedule occasionally to include weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed
- Ability to handle maintenance emergencies and stay calm under pressure
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, able to lift 75lbs+
- Enjoys working on a team and developing talent
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Philadelphia area required and ability to navigate the city and the parking

Pay
$40/hr+ with signing incentives and opportunities for annual profit sharing and performance bonuses.
Schedule
Flexible schedule with occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work available.
