About the role

This position serves as a Residential Service Electrician Supervisor for IES Residential, leading teams and managing residential electrical service projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential electrical service crews and schedules
• Pull wire through conduit and make connections to electrical panels, junction boxes, and other electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints and building codes to determine electrical layouts and wiring requirements
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent workplace accidents and injuries
• Ensure adherence to local NEC Codes & OSHA requirements
• Lead and motivate teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Train and mentor new electricians

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of local NEC Codes & OSHA requirements
• Valid Journeyman or Wireman license with 2 years of residential electrical experience
• Leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building codes
• Understanding of electrical theory, safety regulations, and building codes
