About the role
As an Electrician in St. Louis, MO, you will work closely with our Master Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. All work is to be completed on time, within budget, to specification, codes, and industry standards. This position will also work closely with other technicians, sales, and office personnel.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Supervise, evaluate, and develop apprentices
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers throughout the service process
- Adjust communications to provide the best customer experience
- Create detailed job notes in customer accounts for future reference
- Share thoughts and experiences with coworkers in meetings and one-on-one interactions
- Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain frequent communication with dispatchers regarding job status
- Keep workspaces clean and organized, both at customer properties and in company vehicles
- Prioritize safety for yourself, coworkers, and the public, adhering to MO-OSHA requirements
Requirements
- Department of Labor certified Electrical Apprentice with minimum 2 years of residential experience
- 5+ years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Electrical foreman experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team, depending on assigned tasks
- Willingness to try new ideas and adapt to process improvements
- Punctuality and consistent attendance
