Residential Electrical Helper

About the role

We’re looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to join our electrical team in the Rio Grande Valley area as a Helper. This is a great opportunity to learn the trade, gain field experience, and grow your career.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aid in house rough-in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
  • Install trim components such as plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches.
  • Carry materials and tools to support the leadman and crew.
  • Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with the leadman.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and creative solutions to management.
  • Follow company safety rules and promptly correct or report hazards.
  • Take direction effectively and communicate clearly with team members.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • None
  • 0-2 years of experience

Qualifications & Skills

  • Electrical experience and knowledge of the current National Electric Code.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints (preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

  • Prior work experience; the more electrical experience, the better.
