Residential DSP- Afternoon Shift

About the role

New Point Life Services is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Evening Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Responsibilities

• Support individuals according to their Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP)
• Aid with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
• Encourage independence with daily living skills
• Transport individuals safely to community activities and appointments
• Plan and participate in meaningful recreational and community outings
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
• Administer medications following agency policies
• Complete electronic documentation and required reports
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, dignity, and choice

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
• One year of experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
• Active Virginia CNA, NA, or PCA certification
