About the role

Provides assistance in the population living with a chronic behavioral health disorder with daily living activities, passes medications in accordance with MAP, and provides outreach as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with daily living activities for individuals with chronic behavioral health disorders
  • Passes medications in accordance with MAP guidelines
  • Provides outreach services as needed
  • Works in various service areas including Acute Services, Addiction Services, Family Services, and Adult Community Services
  • Available for full-time, part-time, and on-call/per diem positions

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 or 4-year Degree in related field preferred
  • Relevant experience preferred, will train
  • MUST be MAP and CPR and First Aid Certified, or obtain certification within first 3 months of employment
  • For Adult Day Health, Program Assistants must have 3 years of recent experience working with elder population or chronically disabled
  • Valid Driver’s License with a reliable, properly insured vehicle required for business use (not required for Program Assistant at Adult Day Health)
