Residential Counselor (Mon-Fri 12:00AM to 8:00AM)

About the Role

The Residential Counselor serves as a member of the Residential Program staff, providing support and instruction to residents under the supervision of a House Manager, Assistant House Manager, Program Supervisor, or Program Director.

Responsibilities

• Provides support services, including but not limited to daily living skills, life skill development, supportive residential counseling, and transportation as needed by each resident.
• Supports and assists residents in weekly program schedules and outside activities.
• Maintains the security and safety of the residents and the facility.
• Participates in the development and implementation of the Individual Recovery Plan for each resident.
• Communicates, in written and verbal form, assessments and observations of residents to other treatment team members.
• Supervises and monitors residents in self-medication (not applicable for TRP, Mercer Residential).
• Maintains accurate and current client documentation according to accrediting standards.
