Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those with mental health issues. Our team is currently seeking a Residential Counselor, regardless of experience level, to contribute to our mission.

New Yosemite Program
New Yosemite is a four-bed short-term crisis stabilization program for youth aged 8 to 17 on the autism spectrum. Participants are experiencing difficulties at home and are at risk of being removed from their families. The program offers crisis intervention, behavior stabilization, assessments, brief treatments, individual and family therapy, and comprehensive discharge planning services, aiming to reunite youth with their families within 90 days. 85% of participants achieve their treatment goals and return home upon program completion.
What You Will Do
Under supervision, you will provide high-quality, day-to-day care and supervision to participants in a residential or housing program, ensuring their well-being and development while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. You will also perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid California Driver's License, satisfactory driving record, and a properly registered and insured vehicle.
- Housing Program Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: One (1) year of providing support services or working in a residential or housing program with a similar population.
