Residential Care Advisor Overnight Bethel Park

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment Bethel Park location.
• Develop and mentor a team, using a strengths-based approach and positive practices to guide residents’ activities.
• Ensure the health and well-being of residents by performing required daily tasks.
• Engage with residents both on site and in the community through socialization, activities, and other support services.
• Design games and crafts to enhance residents’ social and personal well-being.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services OR High School Diploma/Equivalency and 1 year of direct care experience.
• Ability to drive an organization automobile/van.
• Act 33/34/73 Clearances.
• Pre-employment Drug Screen.

Schedule

This is a non-exempt/hourly position with an overnight shift:

• Friday: 11p-9a
• Saturday: 11p - 9a
• Sunday: 11p-9a
• Monday: 11p-9a

This position will work in a small 3-bed Mental Health Support Home located in a neighborhood setting in Bethel Park, conveniently located across from South Park.
