Residential Assistant, Weekends

Requirements

• Education: Some college preferred; must have a high school diploma or pass a general educational development test (GED).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in ministry, mentoring, or teaching required.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Monitor weekend schedule and activities;
• Ensure Programmatic Expectations are followed;
• Supervise the completion of Household Details during the Weekend Shift;
• Check resident rooms for cleanliness and make sure beds are made and blinds and doors are opened before breakfast;
• Home phone coverage;
• Fill in for the Residential Supervisor as needed;
• Other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor;
• Resident Support:
• Direct and report resident crises to Residential Supervisor;
• Facilitate resident requests and concerns;
• Minister to residents by being a listening ear and praying with them;
• Document and report notable resident interactions in the Weekend Report;
• Communicate with pertinent Home Staff;
• Responsible for safe transportation of residents, as needed;
• Medical Department Assistance:
• Medication dispersion for OTC needs, morning medication, and evening medication;
• Document and log all medication transactions and interactions on MARs sheet and ETO database;
• Communicate with pertinent Home Staff;
• Transport residents to urgent care/emergency room when deemed necessary by On Call Staff;
• Schedule: 15 hours/biweekly Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am- 5:00 pm (every other weekend);

$20 - $21/hour
