Residential Aide- MVM

About the role

This position is flexible and adapts to the needs of the facility on a day-to-day basis. Tasks will be assigned as training is complete.

Responsibilities

• Make beds in the morning and get residents started on their day; i.e., get coffee, pick out clothes
• Turn down beds and collect nightclothes
• Empty garbage cans
• Answer call lights
• Perform 1:1 checks every 15 minutes around the building
• Second person for resident lifts and gather lifts for CNA
• Answer phone and front door
• Walk residents to and from the dining room
• Absorb and assist with resident care as a secondary assistant
• Pass room trays and make sure rooms are stocked with supplies
• Remind residents of meal times and activities
• Collaborate with other CNAs to become familiar with PCC charting, shift reports, B&B books, care plans, and other charting focus
• Paint fingernails

Requirements

• Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
• Ability to obtain Certified Nurse's Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire date
• Must pass a background check

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
