Residential Advisor

MTC operates the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID, providing quality services to local youth. We seek dedicated professionals who are committed to improving lives.

Responsibilities

• Monitors students on residential floors to ensure compliance with Center rules and regulations.
• Fosters an environment conducive to character development through encouraging favorable behavior patterns.
• Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance in case of injury, illness, trauma, and emotional distress, while documenting student activity and incidents.
• Patrols and monitors dormitories to ensure safety and proper student behavior.
• Assists with recreational activities both on and off campus.
• Participates in the cleanup and maintenance of dormitory areas.
• Promotes and supports positive customer service within the facility.
• Engages in student employability programs and activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year's related experience working with youth preferred.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.

Skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Experience with youth development and counseling.

Pay

$19.25 per hour.

Schedule

Varies, Full Time, 8-hour shifts, 2nd Shift (3pm to 12 am), days vary. Part-time positions also available.
