Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for a portfolio of affordable multifamily apartment communities.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Reconcile reserve and escrow account balances.
• Support financial audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, scanning, filing, and document management.
• Provide support for additional accounting and finance functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
