Resident Services Aide - Full Time Wednesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm

As a Resident Service Assistant/Home Health Aide, you’ll provide hands-on care with respect and dignity, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents. Your role is vital to enhancing their quality of life and supporting their physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
• Help in the Wellness area to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents.
• Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions from the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification.
• Experience assisting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia is a plus.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Previous experience with a geriatric population, particularly assisting with ADLs, is preferred.
• Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism in redirecting residents.
• Ability to adjust to different personality types and situations positively.
• Must be reliable, caring, and gentle in touch and demeanor.
• Maintain respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times.

Schedule

Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).
