Resident Services Aide - Full Time: Tuesday - Saturday 3pm - 11pm

As a Resident Service Assistant/Home Health Aide, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on care in a respectful and dignified manner, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents. Your role is fundamental to enhancing their quality of life and supporting their physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
• Help out in the Wellness area as needed to ensure resident safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions from the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification.
• Experience assisting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Previous experience with a geriatric population, particularly in assisting with ADLs, is preferred.
• Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism in redirecting residents.
• Ability to adjust to different personality types and situations in positive ways.
• Must be reliable, caring, and gentle in touch and demeanor.
• Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times.

Schedule

Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday).
