About the role

We are looking to add a Construction Manager to our St. Louis, Missouri team. You’ll work with Jacobs Construction Managers, Project Managers, Inspectors, and Engineers in addition to the Project Client and Contractors to deliver these projects. You will work with the prime consultant and the Owner to lead construction management on a variety of water and wastewater facility projects in the St Louis area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction management on water and wastewater facility projects
  • Work with the prime consultant, Owner, and Contractors
  • Perform technical inspection work in a construction environment, including construction specifications, drawings, and documentation
  • Engage in multiple trade inspection, construction, and estimating
  • Move around and operate on active construction sites
  • Develop interpersonal relationships, resolve conflicts, and participate in diverse teams
  • Utilize excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, and strong data analysis & technical problem-solving skills
  • Adapt and learn on the job

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in a related field (civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred)
  • At least 5 years’ experience of technical inspection work in a construction environment
  • Experience in municipal construction or related field
  • Experience with water and/or wastewater facility construction (ideal)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Certified Construction Manager (ideal)

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $108,800.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
