Resident Entitlement Counselor

Community Missions seeks a dedicated professional to help residents access public assistance programs including SNAP, Medicaid/Medicare, housing subsidies, and Social Security.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility for public assistance programs
• Assist residents with applications and appeals
• Collaborate with staff to ensure residents receive needed benefits

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field, Finance, or related field
• Valid New York State Driver’s License with clean driving record
• CPR/Red Cross trained (agency will provide)

Skills

• Knowledge of government assistance programs
• Strong case management skills
• Experience working with diverse populations

Pay

$41,729 – $51,563 annually
