About the role
The position involves managing public assistance grants and overseeing transportation projects.Responsibilities
- Manage public assistance grant applications and ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines.
- Oversee transportation projects including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- Ensure project safety standards are met and implement safety management systems.
- Conduct inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering or public works.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing transportation projects.
- Experience with grant writing and project management.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
