About the role

The position involves managing public assistance grants and overseeing transportation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage public assistance grant applications and ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines.
  • Oversee transportation projects including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
  • Ensure project safety standards are met and implement safety management systems.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering or public works.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing transportation projects.
  • Experience with grant writing and project management.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
