About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing efficient and sustainable transportation solutions. Successful candidates will contribute to projects that enhance urban mobility and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization strategies
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and internal teams
- Stay updated with the latest traffic engineering and design trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection improvements
- Knowledge of traffic control devices and signage
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Understanding of traffic engineering principles and best practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
