Resident Engineer
About the role
This role involves performing complex construction assignments, conducting project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding, and scheduling. You will also receive, issue, and track Request for Information (RFI), submittals, and other required data.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures
- Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding, and scheduling
- Receive, issue, and track RFIs, submittals, and other required data
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years experience in construction engineering
- Local candidates given preference
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field
- Previous construction engineering experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
Preferred Qualifications
- CCM
Skills
Experience using Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based document collaboration software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
