Resident Care Tech- Hillcrest (FT- 0.9 FTE, Night Shift)

About the Role

The Resident Care Tech works as a team member to deliver resident care, ensuring resident satisfaction, facility efficiency, and provider productivity. This role assists with the day-to-day needs of residents, including comfort, mobility, medication assistance, and activities of daily living (ADLs). The Resident Care Tech promotes safety by assisting residents with attendance at activities, appointments, and meals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for residents with the nursing staff.
• Implement the plan of care for residents under the direction of nursing staff, reporting observations and comments to nursing.
• Obtain and record vital signs and document inputs and outputs (I&Os) as needed.
• Assist with other resident care duties as requested by nursing, including two-hour checks.
• Provide medication assistance to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Promote safety by assisting residents with attendance at activities, appointments, and meals.
• Assist with setting up the dining area and serving meals to residents, families, and guests.
• Drive the bus/van to transport residents to and from appointments as needed and assigned.

Requirements

• American Heart Association BLS certification required within two (2) months of hire.
• ServSafe certification required within two (2) months of hire.
• Current Driver’s License and successful completion of a driver’s record check if assigned to drive.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medication Aide I License, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician certification.
• One (1) year of experience working in a customer service or hospitality role for high-end clientele.
• One (1) year of experience working as an aide or caregiver in an assisted living facility, long-term care facility, skilled nursing facility, or hospital.

Current Bozeman Health employees hired prior to September 2025 may not be required to meet the updated driving job qualifications unless identified by the supervisor(s) as required to drive.

Schedule

• Regular and sustained attendance is required.
• May necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
• On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
