Resident Care/Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the daily functioning of resident care and staffing needs of the elders within the community under the direction of the Administrator and Wellness Director.
• Schedule, coach, and train Care Partners and medication passer/techs, and ensure coverage for shifts as well as working open shifts.
• Train, schedule, and supervise overall duties in directing the work of team members under the leadership of the Wellness Director.
• Participate in the interviewing and hiring process of Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Assist the Administrator and Wellness Director in adjusting staffing levels based on fluctuating occupancy and level of care.
• Assist elders with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Assist with and document medications under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

Requirements

• Desire and talent to lead a high-functioning, empowered team.
• Experience working as a Care Partner and Medication Tech previously.
• Computer literacy, savvy in social media, and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
• Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• Meet all health requirements as specified by state and federal regulations.
• Able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Pass a criminal background check.
