Resident Care Director

About the role

Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Resident Care Director—either RN or LPN—for our assisted living community located in beautiful Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham’s vibrant entertainment district.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the resident care department through supervising and hands-on support of the care staff
• Manage and train resident care staff to ensure quality service delivery
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Complete resident assessments and care plans for new and current residents
• Conduct daily/weekly compliance audits and QA initiatives

Qualifications

• RN or LPN nursing license in good standing with the State of North Carolina
• Minimum of two years nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
