About the role
Provide compassionate care to residents in a residential care setting. Assist with daily activities, medication management, and ensure safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Manage medications and assist with administering treatments
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of living spaces
- Participate in regular training sessions to maintain competency in care practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Passing score on a background check
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
