About the role
As a Resident Caregiver, you'll play an important role in helping residents maintain their independence while providing compassionate assistance with daily activities. You'll work closely with residents, families, and fellow team members to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where every resident feels respected and valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Escort residents throughout the community as needed.
- Follow individualized care plans and daily schedules established by supervisors.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and meaningful interaction throughout the day.
- Document resident care and daily assistance accurately.
- Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns.
- Promote each resident's dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
- Become familiar with emergency procedures and safety equipment.
- Participate in required training sessions, in-service education, and staff meetings.
- Maintain a safe working environment for residents and fellow team members.
- Foster positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
- Follow all community policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Part-time 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3 days per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekend availability as needed
- Additional shifts may be available.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED completed.
- One year of experience working in senior care preferred, or equivalent education.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate resident care.
