Resident Care Assistant - Assisted Living Memory Support

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and social and spiritual pursuits to the best of their abilities while promoting their dignity, independence, self-determination, privacy, choice, and rights.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and medication reminders.
• Identify residents’ physical and cognitive changes, making appropriate follow-up decisions, documentation, and communication to appropriate associates.
• Aid residents with leisure time programming, including escorting them to and from activities.
• Aid with dining services and general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Licenses/Certifications: N/A
• Experience: 1-2+ years of caregiving experience preferred
• Skills & Abilities: Ability to show compassion and empathy toward residents and associates
