Responsibilities

  • Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence
  • Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
  • Maintain and document proper records of care
  • Immediately report changes in resident condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.
  • Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant‑CNA, Home Health Aide‑HHA, or Personal Care Aide‑PCA certification preferred or as required by law
  • One year working in a caregiving capacity, preferred
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly, required

Pay

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience; shift differential available for evening, night & weekend shifts

Schedule

Part Time 3pm-11pm (Rotating Weekends)
