Resident Care Aide
We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide.
Responsibilities
- Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence
- Maintain and document proper records of care
- Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.
- Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities
Requirements
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law
- One year working in a care giving capacity preferred
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required

Pay
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour – based on experience
Schedule
Schedule: 11pm - 7am Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with rotating weekends

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at Peregrine Senior Living at Orchard Park. As a Resident Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining their dignity and promoting their independence. You will also maintain and document proper records of care, immediately report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor, promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities, and ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights.
