Resident Care Aide (Day Shift)
Responsible for
- Assisting memory impaired residents with tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Maintaining residents' dignity and promoting independence
- Ensuring compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
- Maintaining and documenting proper records of care
- Immediately reporting changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor
- Promoting and encouraging residents to participate in community activities
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law
- One year working in a care giving capacity preferred
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
