Resident Care Aide

About the role

This is a full-time salaried position responsible for performing non-professional direct patient care duties under the supervision of nursing personnel. You will provide direct care to the residents of our assisted living facility, assisting with activities of daily living, dining service, and helping residents to and from activities and meals.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-professional direct patient care duties under the supervision of nursing personnel
• Provide direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with dining service
• Help residents to and from activities and meals

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Some shift flexibility is needed; primarily a day shift position
• Completion of elementary education or otherwise show the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience or completion of the appropriate training program
• Positive attitude toward the elderly
