Responsibilities
- Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible.
- Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned.
- Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment on-site, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton-opening systems.
- Lead maintenance efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues requiring in-depth technical knowledge.
- Adhere to the highest quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs.
- Interface with the customer as needed to support operations.
- Maintain the site spare parts inventory.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five plus (5+) years of demonstrated experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in industrial, warehousing/distribution, manufacturing, or related environments.
- Previous experience in electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of material-handling conveyors, AS/RS, and shuttle systems.
- Familiarity with HMI and/or SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition interface) experience.
- Profibus and Profinet experience.
