Resident Assistant STNA PT AM

About the Role

Community First Solutions is looking for full-time STNAs and Resident Assistants to join our health services team at our Westover, Berkeley Square, or Jamestowne campuses on the AM shift. Nurses and nurse managers are committed to promoting residents' well-being through a collaborative and compassionate approach to care, focusing on best practices and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, quality interactions to residents specific to their individual interests, focusing on interpersonal relationships and quality of life.
• Assist nurses with managing, treating, and responding to resident care needs.
• Assist residents with daily hygiene activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist residents with mobility, including lifting, positioning, and transporting.
• Answer resident calls in a timely manner.
• Assist residents with daily meals and feeding.
• Observe residents and note their physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, etc.
• Spend as much time listening as talking; share resident/family concerns and any changes in the resident’s condition with your supervisor.
• Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

Requirements

• Must be listed in good standing in the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry OR currently in the process of becoming state tested.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Current Instructor-Led CPR Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays.
• This direct care position requires COVID-19 vaccination to protect our team and our clients. Resources will be provided for applicants who are not yet vaccinated.
