Responsibilities
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with residents, patients, clients, and family members or personal representatives.
- Responsible for maintaining a positive image of the entity in the community, aligning with our mission, vision, and values.
- Perform care as directed by the Director of Nursing A/L.
- Promptly notify the on-duty Nurse of any change in resident status.
- Provide services consistent with the resident service plan.
- Participate in required initial and ongoing training programs and complete 15 hours of in-service training per year.
- Use proper body mechanics in the performance of all tasks.
- Only perform tasks in which training has been provided.
- Always practice standard precautions.
- Document services in an accurate and timely manner.
- Cooperate with scheduling to accomplish adequate coverage for resident services.
Requirements
- Commitment to quality programs and services for residents, patients, and clients.
- Excellent communication and human relation skills.
- Ability to relate well to residents, patients, clients, and family members or personal representatives.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, make sound decisions, and exhibit flexibility when needed.
- Reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Completed documented proof of CBRF Training as outlined in HFS-83.
- At least 18 years of age.
Pay
$16.50–$18.30 per hour, with shift differential for PM and Night shifts.
Schedule
AM, PM, or Night shifts available.
