Resident Assistant PT 3pm-11pm

Part-time position with every other weekend shifts available: morning, evening, and overnight.

About the role

The Resident Assistant provides support to residents, assists them in their physical and emotional well-being, and helps each resident reach their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Provides minimal to moderate assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living such as bed making and laundry.
• Provides minimal assistance with incontinence care.
• Performs safety checks.
• Recognizes and responds to changes in residents' behavior, cognitive and physical functioning, and level of participation and interaction with others.
• Communicates both verbal and written information objectively and timely to the management team.
• Documents clearly and legibly in residents' records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
