Overnights | 31 hours per pay period | includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay

$19‑$23.65 per hour (non‑exempt), based on location, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well‑being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Clear and compassionate communication abilities
• Commitment to serving with excellence and integrity
• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and interpersonal effectiveness
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living)
• Ability to pass a state‑required background study
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors
