About the role
The Spectrum Story is full of compassion, hard work, and fun. This role involves caring for residents and providing assistance with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with grooming, bathing, and maintaining personal environments for residents.
- Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
- Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
- Review and adhere to resident care plans as well as obtain vital signs.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
- A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.
