Responsibilities

• Treat co-workers and residents with a genuine sense of kindness and care
• Approach challenging situations with patience, pleasantness, and grace
• Understand that honesty and ethics are an essential part of your success
• Enjoy your work and understand your efforts have true purpose
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Aid in meal preparation and service if necessary
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements

• Can lift 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read and write

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
