Resident Assistant - Cedarbrook

Part-time opportunity in our Resident Services Department at Cedarbrook memory care.

Pay

$19 – $20.50/hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

• Multiple shifts available: 2 PM – 10 PM, 10 PM – 6 AM
• Weekends included

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Respond promptly to all resident needs and/or requests for care; provide or obtain assistance as necessary
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
• Monitor residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences; report promptly to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
• Must be able to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as required by company policy and state regulations
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
