Responsibilities

  • Manages all operational aspects of a front desk process to ensure prompt response when clients require ordinary or emergency assistance.
  • Responsible for safety and emergency management, taking appropriate action to protect the health, safety, and rights of clients, and referring non-emergent issues appropriately.
  • Provides for ordinary client needs, including replacing lost items, personal shopping, running errands, helping with correspondence, and receiving or mailing items.
  • Assists with local reservations and travel arrangements, including directions and programming GPS units with appropriate guidance to local destinations.
  • Answers client calls professionally and sources solutions to appropriate responsible parties.
  • Assists with minor dog-related issues in class.
  • Assists new clients in their orientation to the Residence and campus area.
  • Conducts various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed, including special projects using desktop tools such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Assists the Food Services Department as needed, serving meals, maintaining food safety regulations and standards, and maintaining food service areas.
  • Provides kitchen area assistance in stocking, washing dishes, etc.
  • Provides quality customer service while serving meals to clients in class.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
