Job Responsibilities
- Aid residents with personal cares including dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, management of incontinence products, showering, hair washing, lotion application, nail/toenail care, foot care, and medication administration.
- Support residents using hearing aids, glasses, walkers, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.
- Assist with treatments as directed by the RN.
- Administer and assist with medication as directed by the RN.
- Prepare meals according to special meal plans.
- Lead and organize resident activities as scheduled.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Report any changes or concerns to the RN.
- Monitor residents for changes in physical and emotional condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Recognize and report safety hazards and incidents.
- Participate in disaster planning drills and fire safety practices.
- Follow department procedures and policies.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings.
Requirements
- No certification required.
- Must adhere to HIPPA privacy rules and regulations.
- Must uphold resident's rights at all times.
- Must demonstrate dependable professional work habits.
- Must adhere to personnel policy manual.
- Must handle work-related situations confidentially.
- Must come to work on time and when scheduled.
- Must maintain good personal hygiene and grooming.

Pay
$19.61 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
4 shifts per pay period, 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM, includes every other weekend and holiday rotation, total of 20 hours per pay period.
